
Very tasty croutons, taste of childhood according to Inna's recipe
80 grams of butter at room temperature
140 g of granulated sugar
2 eggs
280 g of wheat flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1.5 hr of baking powder
1/2 h salt
80 g peeled pistachios, cut
40 g of hazelnut
50 g raisins
50 g of dried cranberries
2 tbsp lemon juice
Preparation:
Wash the raisins and cranberries and soak in 2 tbsp lemon juice.
In a bowl of a mixer to whip butter with sugar, to add on one egg, vanilla.
Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, stir and add to the oily egg mixture
Add pistachios and hazelnut, dry the raisins, cranberries and add to the dough.
On the floured surface, put the dough, divided into 3 parts.
Form of each piece of "sausage" 25x5 cm.
Cover the pan with baking paper.
Bake in the oven at 180C for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool for 5-7 minutes and cut the slices at an angle.
Put on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, turn over and bake for 5 minutes.
Cool on the grate.
