Prague 2013

A week ago we spent 5 fantastic days with friends in Prague, I can't help sharing photos
Beauty, architecture and antiques golden autumn.

The Dancing House, an office building in Prague in the style of de constructivism, consists of two cylindrical towers: normal and destructive. The Dancing House is an architectural metaphor of a dancing couple, jokingly called “Ginger and Fred” in honor of the couple Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. (Wikipedia information)
The house is located in Prague 2, on the corner of Resslovaya Street and the embankment

Prague Astronomical Clock, or Eagle (czech. Pražský orloj) - medieval tower clocks installed on the southern wall of the tower of the Old Town Hall on the Old Town Square in Prague.
Hours show the years, months, days and hours, the time of sunrise and sunset, the time of the moon rising and setting, and the position of the signs of the zodiac.
In the center of the dial is the Earth, around which the sun rotates. Every hour when the clock strikes, a small performance takes place in the traditions of the medieval puppet theater.
The figures, which are the incarnations of human vices of human life, like death or retribution for sins, begin to move: the skeleton pulls the bell by the rope, the angel raises and lowers the punishing sword. In the windows of the clock, the faces of the apostles replace each other, and in the final a rooster crows.
Then you hear the clock fight. (Wikipedia information)

Old Town Square where life rages 24 hours a day.
Here you can see the statues of living people and performances of artists.
A tasty meal and just a walk and even marriages in the Prague City Hall

The Cathedral of St. Nicholas (Kostel sv. Mikuláše) was built in 1732-1737 in the Baroque style, stands on Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) in Prague (Praha).
The main decoration of the cathedral is a large crystal chandelier shaped like a Russian imperial crown.
It was donated by Tsar Nicholas II of the local Orthodox Church.
The church of St. Nicholas is famous for Organ, on which Mozart himself played, when he lived in Prague.

Prague Castle - a fortress in Prague, the residence of the President of the Czech Republic.
The largest presidential residence in the world, perhaps also the largest castle in the world.
Located in Hradčany on a high hill towering above Prague

St. Vitus Cathedral (czech Katedrála svatého Víta, full name: the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Vojtěch, Víta, Václava a Vojtěcha) - the Gothic Catholic cathedral in Prague Castle, seat of the Archbishop of Prague.
The construction of the Gothic cathedral was begun in November 1344 by young French architect Matthias of Arras and lasted for 6 centuries.

Inside the building there is an impressive panorama of the Gothic cathedral: the neo-gothic architectural style in the central nave with ribbed reticulated vaults of 33.5 meters in height almost imperceptibly enters the choir area in the medieval part, penetrated by the warm light of stained glass windows (Wikipedia information)
