
I went to the forest for mushrooms, and my mushrooms are not simple, but gingerbread.
Such a miracle will delight your children and adults too.

we also use the gingerbread dough from which the Katarzhinka cookies were made:
400 g flour
200 g of honey
100 g sugar
1 egg
2 tsp gingerbread spice recipe here
2 tsp soda
1 tbsp. Molasses
for glaze:
1 protein
powdered sugar
(I use dry protein)
1 tbsp poppy
Cooking:
Heat the oven to 190 degrees.
Honey, sugar and molasses slightly heat and stir.
Add the egg all mix well.
Sift flour, add soda and spices well combine.
Add flour and knead smooth dough.
From the dough to form balls (caps)
From the remaining dough, roll the legs, equal in number of balls
Cover the baking sheet with baking paper, put balls and legs on it
bake for 15 minutes.
Cool on the grill.
Preparation of glaze:
Beat the protein with the sifted powder, which is poured gradually.
Assembly:
in the balls on one side, make a recess with a knife, so that you can insert a leg.
Leg covered with glaze (I do first with one hand, when it dries with the other).
Sprinkle with poppy seeds immediately
Fill the recess in the ball with glaze and insert the leg
You can use glaze with a brush to give the cap a mushroom structure.
