I decided to definitely try and participate in the pumpkin flashmob conducted by Natasha
The recipe is slightly changed by me:
1 kg of pumpkin
500 g sugar
300 g dried apricots
2 glasses of water
juice of one lemon
cooking:
Wash dried apricots, pour boiling water and leave for half an hour, drain the water in a saucepan
dried apricots, pumpkin cut into small pieces
Add sugar to the saucepan with water and boil until the syrup forms (sugar should
dissolve completely).
Add dried apricots, pumpkin, lemon juice to boil and cook over low heat until the pumpkin is soft and transparent,
and syrup thick.
Pour into jars, cool and put in the fridge for 5 days. During this time the pumpkin will absorb the taste and smell of dried apricots and our jam
will be to taste apricot.
