The city in which I live

As if suddenly the head was visited by the idea to make the project "the city in which I live."
The city is very beautiful, green with numerous parks and entertainment for children and adults.
I thought and today began to implement.

Holon (Heb. חולון) is a large city in the center of Israel, in Tel Aviv district.
Included in the agglomeration "Gush Dan".
The city is famous for a large industrial area, a large cultural program of the municipality, an agricultural academy, as well as a large component of the Russian-speaking population.
Holon is also called the "children's capital of Israel" because of the large number of children's entertainment and educational institutions.

Story:
In the 1920s, even before the formation of the State of Israel, Jews bought a deserted piece of land,
completely covered with sand dunes, which was just south of Jaffa.
Almost at the same time, 5 Jewish villages were founded on the purchased land plot: Green,
Moledet, Kiryat Avod, Shkhunat Am and Agrobank.
Due to problems in front of individual villages, by 1937 all the villages came to the conclusion
that they need to unite.
After unification in 1937, the newly-formed large settlement was named “Holon”.
This name is mentioned in the Torah and describes the surrounding sand as closely as possible (in Hebrew, sand - "Khol" Hebrew. חול).
By March 1940, the charter of the local Holon Council was drafted.
The first elections were held in April 1942.
Finally, in 1950, Holon was given the status of a city
